Fantastic

Our vacation to Seattle was more than I could have ever hoped it could be. We had a fantastic time with my sister and her family. They opened up their home to us - even giving us our own bathroom to use - and we shared a Thanksgiving dinner, too!

All of our children got along wonderfully - it's amazing to see how much they are alike personality-wise. Kailei is to Geoff as Rush is to Lacey. The kids couldn't believe how much Robin and I look, talk, and act alike. We even parent our children in much the same way. It was nice to just be with them. To sit around the kitchen table with a cup of coffee (or a can of Mountain Dew), and just enjoy each other's company was awesome.

While I missed being away from my home this past week, my heart still longs to be in the company of my dear sister and her family. But, now that I have conquered my fear of flying, maybe we can get together more often. As long as I don't have to spend another 9 hours in Chicago O'Hare airport.

Today it's back to work - but I know my mind will be distracted and I am sure I'll be daydreaming quite a bit about our awesome vacation.

I don't have any pics to post, yet - I need the help of one of my teenagers to do that.

Have a blessed day - I know I will.
