Merry Christmas!

Joy to the world, all!

This is the morning of expectations fulfilled for so many children. To hasten from sleep and rush to the Christmas tree to seek out packages with your name next to the word "To". The excitement of anticipation finally met. The completion of planning, scheduling, calculating and budgeting for so many parents finally reached. Go ahead, Mom and Dad, relax with a cup of coffee and watch the little ones wholly enjoy this morning.

Who doesn't remember opening gifts on Christmas morning and that feeling of "It's just what I wanted!" even if it was a pair of striped tube socks or a new turtleneck? Of course, you couldn't wait for vacation to be over so you could go back to school wearing your new necklace and your "Love's Baby Soft" perfume.

While we are enjoying this holiday, let us remember that we have already received the best gift of all:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so save the world through him."
